  Thank you for visiting our site. We would like to share a little about us here at Basset Hounds of Texas. We are a family owned and operated facility located on a 122 acre ranch in the small country town of Louise, Texas. My husband and I along with our three children- Levi, Layton and Layni enjoy every minute of our Hounds. Their loyalness and love for attention is second to none. Our Hounds are raised as part of our family and around our children. This way your puppy is accustomed to everyday life. Our puppies are born and raised indoors and do not leave our kennel until they are fully weaned and have received their first set of shots and a vet check.  We are dedicated to giving all our dogs and puppies the very best in nutrition, mental stimulation, socialization, and medical care. Our puppies are dewormed every 2 weeks and are current on their vaccinations at time of purchase.  We are proud of our facility in which we call our “Canine Condos” and welcome you to come visit anytime.
